Music for Wedding Photography Website
For this photographer, I wrote and recorded a song that would enhance the emotional content of the photographs, not overwhelm the subject, and continue to be interesting on repeated plays. To demonstrate how the song worked with the photos to maximize the emotional impact, I reconstructed a photo slideshow with images from Google, as the original website is no longer available.
2014 Concert Handbill
The idea here was to show that this would be a special performance by a special performer, and to set the stage for concert night! Click on the thumbnail image to access the full-size concert flyer.
2015 Radio Commercial:
A client asked me to write a 30 second radio spot for a culinary school class project. She had written a business plan for a food truck specializing in fresh, whole-food dishes that would be parked at weekend sporting events (kids soccer games, etc), and in front of CrossFit gyms. The name of the business was to be "Deb's Drive-By Fooding." I composed an original song with guitar, mandolin, banjo, and handclaps to emphasize organic, fresh, and fun, and wrote the script based on the client's business concept. Kassidy Douglas gives a the script a lighthearted and fun reading.
"Pick of the Chick" is a fun, lively bluegrass track, featuring banjo, mandolin, and guitar.
with Whitney Winkler
My sister, Whitney Winkler is a beautiful singer and songwriter. Here are several songs that we have collaborated on over the years. Generally, I play guitar, and handle the instrumental arrangements, while Whitney writes the songs, sings, and arranges the vocal harmonies.
